Nightmare - Part 5

It was a cool fall day. Roughly 40 degrees Fahrenheit and the trees in many different colors for fall.  "I will be going in a little bit." a female voice came from the driver's seat.  "Alright mom.  I am going out here to keep playing on my Game Boy for a bit."  Alright, hun." The truck door slammed shut as music from an 8-bit era played through the cab.  A screech comes from the side.  The boy looks up just in time to see a truck coming at him at full speed.  Seconds, the truck plows into the truck the boy was in.  Moments later an ambulance arrives, as well as police, and fire trucks.  The boy's mother rushes out of the grocery store and to the remains of the truck.  A stretcher carries someone from the truck under a white sheet.  The mother arrives, and tears in her eyes, cries over the sheet.

Reed wakes up with a start.  Panting heavily and sweat on his brow as he shakes his head.  "That dream again..." he mumbles to himself.  He looks over to the black vixen sleeping next to him.  He smiles and climbs off the bed and walks into the hallway.  He pauses a moment to catch the rest of his breath then resumes towards the living room.  He goes to the window that covers the entire wall.  The television now in sleep mode, just one-tenth of the size it was when it was on earlier that night.  He looks over the city.  "That dream again.  I wish that event didn't keep plaguing me over and over again.  I died in that." he said in a low voice.  "My mother will never figure out what had happen to me.  She still thinks of me as dead after all."  He walks up to the kitchen sink and splashes water onto his face, then stumbles back towards the bedroom to get back to bed.

Intruder - Part 4

The door to the bathroom swings open as a black fox now stands in the door.  The other side, his wife now shakes in the corner, like she has been hurt. In front of her a red wolf, nothing on, is standing there, whipping his head around with a sick grin on his face to the fox in the opening.  He points a gun to the black fox.  "Back off, or I will shoot." he smiles, "You can watch though, while I have my way with this vixen."  The black fox dips his head down and takes a step into the doorway.  The male wolf points the gun up, pointing the end of the barrel to the fox's head. "I will shoot!" the wolf yelled.  The black fox grins, only the ends of his mouth is visible. The smile is in a slightly evil grin then he chuckles under his breath, "Put that toy down and leave, or you will be hurt." he pauses for a second, "In more ways than one."  The wolf shoots at the fox, hitting him in the forehead.  The fox, falls backwards and lands with a loud thud on the ground.  The wolf laughs then he backs up, as if he just saw death himself in front of him, as the fox lifts up, like in reverse motion from when he got shoot, blood on his forehead and turns to dust.  The hole vanishes.

The room darkens to where there was only light on the three. The black fox reaches behind him, grabbing hold of something and from thin air, a pole is pulled out, like it has always been there.  "I don't think you will have anyway with my wife." The black fox nods towards the vixen's direction. For a second, the wolf looks down at his prey, and screams.  There, where she was, was just a pile of bones, the skull of a canine, most of human except for the spine which was longer, like it was a tail.  Just sitting there like it always has been there.  "What are you?!" he yells at the fox. "I am Reed." the fox replies, "I am a mage, protector of dimensions and worlds, and you, will not be the same." he chuckles again.  Quickly, the wolf fires his weapon at the fox, but as soon as he did, the fox vanishes.  A thud, and the wolf stumbling forward, noticing that there wasn't a room, just darkness.  He looks behind him, seeing the fox floating there, the staff he pulled now covered in spikes, and one spike is through his hand.  "Please, forgive me!" the wolf pleas. "I already gave you that chance.   You ignored it, hurt my wife, told me you will rape her.  However, I wouldn't worry about death.  You will want it more than what I will do to you."  The fox lifts his head, as his eyes glowed grey in color once again, and the wolf's eye's become wide as saucers.  "No, No, NO!" the wolf screamed.

The lights return to normal, the fox walks by the wolf, trembling, and yelling "No" repeatedly over and over again, in a fetal posistion.  The fox then kneels at the bones and mumbles a spell.  Balls of magic surround the skeleton. Tissue starts to grow back at a rapid pace.  Once it was done, he hugged his wife.  "Sorry, I had to 'kill' you off for your protection." he whispered. She smiled at him.  "I know, it isn't the first, and won't be the last time you will do that." she looked down at the wolf. "What are you going to do with him?" he answered, "Well, I think a mental hospital will work.  He will get better there, the spell is only temporary, but hopefully he will not try that again."  he thinks for a moment, "What did he do to you anyways?" She looks down and replies, "Only slapped me and forced me down just a moment before you opened that door." he smiles, "And probably locked it." she nods.  The night is now almost on them, and the time is ticking closer and closer to his departure.

A Walk Around the Building - Part 3

The black fox walks out of the door, then closes it behind him.  He looks into the very small hall.  Looking to the left and looking at a couple of pads, with a panel suspended by a pole.  "Teleports, always feels weird to me, regardless." he pauses, "It is the only way down to the first floor."  He moves up to the panel.  The panel light up when he got near, lighting up weird symbols.  He presses some of the letters, then nods. He steps into a pad as he vanishes from view.

A few moments later, he looks over a hallway.  Doors span to his right with strange symbols, but under them, starting at 199, decrease with each door after that, halfway down, a light comes in.  He walks to the lights until he reaches to a double door and open it to the outside.  Looking around, many others where out, from many different species from canines, to felines, various breeds species and colors, even colors that where not normal for those types.  Even bird and fish species of furries walking around.  Some wearing clothes in full, others fully naked.  He nods to some and smiles.  He mumbles something as he eyes then glow a yellowish color and quickly fade away.  "Much better." He thought to himself. "I can now understand them.  I need to remember to put on translation shield while here."  he continue to think to himself.  He moves to the outside and starts his walk around, to the back area of the building.  As he does, he walks on a walkway, he looks up, the building goes up so high that the tip looked no bigger than a pin point.  Flying vehicles moving past, swooping side to side, above and below others as the speed on by.

As he moved by some hedges, coming upon a stage with seating, neatly stacked to the back and secured in placed. "Been a very long time, since we had our last party here."  He looks around some with a smile, images of the past.  The time when he just became a furry, before his three children.  A cool breeze comes up as he then starts to move to the final side.  As he went to the final side, seeing a car going into the underground parking lot.  He nods, as then his ears perk up.  "I hear... VIXY!!" he yells, while her screams ring in his ears.  His senses telling him that, due to his magic.  With a glow of grey color flash in his eyes as he vanishes from sight.

After Lunch - Vixy - Part 2

She watched him leave, closing the door behind him, she gave a quick sigh.  "I wonder what he is worried about." She turned and picked up the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.  She knew he had changed the taste of her cooking.  She wasn't upset, she also knew that she cannot cook real well.  "Sometimes, I should just ask him to cook instead." she smiled.

This city is her home, and only she is the adult furry from here.  Her husband, and even White where not from this very world, in fact, not from this dimension at all.  She took the adult test when she was fifteen and sometimes wished she took a little longer with it.  Her hometown is very futuristic from even Reed's home.  Flying cars, spaceships, and lots of things not normal to him.  Even how things are ran are not like any government from his home world at all. The officials are selected by some sort of bond.  A mark that is tattooed by some unknown force, selects them for their duties.  With this they write bills which is then voted on by all areas of this planet, since colonies have their own systems of government.  The money system is something called Credit.  Credits are given by a general pool, and a computer which no one remembers where it is located anymore, or even can hack into it, takes care of it all.  Vixy often wonder how that could be, how could no one discover it, or hack into it, but she knew she would never find the answer.  Reading on it several times, she had found out that it sends signals to the mainframe in the council tower, and even then, no one still cannot hack or find it.

Reed, originally being human, took on his form for her.  This makes her very happy, yet concerned.  It is like he hated his birth specie.  Each time she brought it up, he always replied, "I still use it.  I was born as a human, and I will continue to be one for everyone there.  It is here and other places where I am furry.  Gives those not used to that form, some sort of terror if they fight me."

A bing is sounded from the dishwasher.  Vixy looked up at the clock, "Hmmm.... only been a minute.  That thing is getting slower, I swear." she mumbled to herself.  "Something must be wrong with it."
She walked over to the dishwasher to double check the dishes.  They where all clean, glistening in the light. "Still, cleans very well though." She put them away while wagging her fluffy black tail with a white tip.  Another thought then enters her mind which made her giggle some.  "Silly humans though. I must admit, clothing is nice to wear, but really doesn't hurt anything."  Being completely nude herself, she considered herself always dressed just because of her fur.

She walked into their bathroom, and turned on the water.  Furries still used water, best way to clean in their opinions.  She stepped in and grabbed the fur shampoo first while another human thought came through her mind. "Interesting that humans used soap.  I suppose they would have to, not having fur.  That would be easier.  that is one thing I am envious off.  Sometimes this stuff is hard to get completely washed out."  She lathered herself up and eventually rinsed off, stepping out of the shower.

Just as she walked out of the shower, she heard the door open.

The Black Fox - Part 1

It is dark.  A figure of a canine, standing on two legs, leans over a railing, looking over a city.  The city is lit up by the street lights and signs below.  The fox was wearing his usual trench coat, a large brim felt hat on his head, like what old mortician use to wear back in the old west.  He has a black shirt on against his black fur.  His bottom was bare, showing all he is indeed male.  His tail has a white tip.  His face showing a concern over his face as his blue eyes glance over the city over and over again as a female canine walks through a well lit room from behind him.  Wearing only her fur as clothing.  Her fur darken from the lack of light with the exception of the lights from below.  Her front white, her hair silver in color.  Her brown eyes look at him.  "You alright, hun?" she asks.  He nods as he then turns to her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Yes, just wish I sometimes didn't have these powers at all."  She looks down, "I know." she replies, "But your powers at least make it like you really are around all the time, since you do have the ability to time travel." He looks over her and smiles, "That is true.   You do know how to make me feel better, Vixy." The two foxes walk into the well lite room.

The male fox walks in and takes his hat off, showing his grey hair.  God bestowed him with powers beyond comprehension. Forcing him to split into two beings.  Those memories resurfaced in his mind, then remembers that this is the way it is has to be.  He agreed to his fate long ago, when he was still fully human, in another world altogether.  He remembers that he was at a local grocery store.  He was with his mother and decided to stay in her truck at the time as she went to go in for a couple things.  He pulled his Gameboy out and started up a game.  While playing, a screech comes from outside the truck, and before he could react, the truck was hit.  He doesn't remember much, just a white like room as a voice comes from everywhere, giving him a task.  He is to protect all dimensions, all worlds.  The voice told him that money will not be an issue, but he will keep battling, until the end of time.  He accepted this role.  For the first thousands years or so, he was a human, until he discovered this world, and his now wife.

"Reed?" The voice comes from the kitchen.  The vixen from before was in the kitchen, cooking something up, even though he didn't need to eat anymore, due to his magical abilities, he still enjoyed eating.  He frowned though, knowing that Vixy cannot even make a salad correctly, but he used his magic to make his meal a bit better tasting.  He looks at her and smiles, "So, where is White anyways?" the black male fox asks his wife. "Well, she went to her home dimension to visit her old friends and family." She replied to his question, going back to cooking. "Anyways, lunch is ready." she then added after a brief pause. He gets up and and sits at the table. Waiting for her to bring the food.  He usually cooks for them.  Their three kids where at their grandparents house so both him and Vixy where both alone.  She sat down his food, which looked like a sandwich, however it wasn't very appetizing, so he mumbled something and made them into a much better looking, and probably better tasting sandwiches.

"So, do you have to leave again?" Vixy had asked just before taking a bite out of her sandwich.  "Yes. I have to go to an old dimension to defend it and keep my deed to it." she smiles, "I know you will win, if not, you will be back shortly.  You are immortal, just like me now." she chuckles.  "Only because, I gave you that, my lovely black vixen." he responded.  He didn't want to be without her.  He would have been turned into another dark version of himself if it wasn't for her at all.  She looks up and giggles some, "You do know that I am glad you have those powers.  You do make my cooking much better." she chuckles as he chuckles with her.  "I know."  He knew that she knew that she couldn't cook at all. "You have been in the holo-deck a lot lately." He smiles, "Yeah...." he says, trailing off the last part of his words. "I was wondering if we should change the time part of it to match the time out here."  Vixy shaked her head no as she chewed another bit.  After she swallows, "I kinda like it that way.  More romantic." Reed finishes his and stands up and takes his plate into the kitchen and setting it into the sink.  "I am going to take a look around the apartment building, make sure all is fixed up and in good working order."  He smiles, taking his hat again. Putting on his hat, "Will be back in a few minutes, hun.", as he walked out.
